After 6 months of constant wear, the Velocity Systems BOSS Rugby shirt has proven itself.
The BOSS Rugby shirt is, like its name indicates, a rugby inspired shirt that can be worn as a hot weather range shirt, moisture managing base layer under armor or simply a hiking shirt.

The cut is athletic, providing a good fit under a ruck, armor or vest. The same cut and stretch fabric provide a good unrestricted range of movement. The material is comfortable and quick to dry. It is extremely breathable due to the porous face.
Little openings in the fabric allow for a greater air flow
The two sleeve pockets accept hook backed patches and are great to store small items such as ear plugs. They do stretch over time, though, so be carefull what you store there.
The initial feeling that you are wearing a shirt that is not cotton disappears quickly once you start moving. The shirt construction is perfect for long ruckings and extended movement in hot summer days. I haven't experienced any chafing or any irritations at all while wearing this. The fabric is still as new after many washes and strap and sling rubbing on it.
I have the short sleeve version. Velocity recently released also a long sleeve version and 2 shirts are already en route here.
