Patagonia Nano Puff Hoody
The Patagonia Nano Puff Hoody has become one of the most indispensable items on my kit.
For the last two years I wore the Nano Puff Pullover for pretty much everything but the coldest weather. Then, when Patagonia released the hoody version, I just went for it. It's the best insulated do-everything, go-everywhere jacket I own.
Windproof and water-resistant, the Nano Puff (all in the line) is made with warm, incredibly lightweight, highly compressible 60-g PrimaLoft ONE insulation; ideal as outerwear, or as an insulating layer in colder climates. It packs so small that it's hard not to take it with you everywhere. Check it out:
This jacket adapts to every activity. I've worn mine (both the hoody and the pullover) on alpine climbs, on recon ops, to the city, while running and pretty much any activity in between.
The fit is sporty and slim, allowing you a good range of motion and, on rock and alpine clmbing activities, will not stop you from seeing your feet and your gear hanging on the harness.
There is a version for the ladies too.
This jacket is highly recommended as the one piece of gear you want to have with you.
