GORUCK Field Pockets
Having the right gear is key to a successful field operation, however having the right way to keep the gear organized is sometimes more important.
I have a system for packing my gear and I always pack my kit the same way. I know where everything is and I can access all the different pieces of my kit under stress if needed.
One of the best ways to keep gear organized is the use of pouches or pockets.
Enter the GORUCK Field Pockets.
These pouches were designed by GORUCK to seamlessly fit their rucks. They use the MOLLE system to attach to either the interior or exterior of the ruck. You can read more about the design behind these pockets in GORUCK's blog.
When they came out I bought all 3 and with time I bought some more, including some in Multicam and Coyote. I use them to electronics and small gear stash, camera and comms storage and protection, small items organization and pretty much anything in between. I also use the GR1 Field Pocket as my dopp kit for travelling.
They can also be used as standalone pieces. I usually don't attach them to the ruck and I can just take a GR2 field, for example, with all the recon gear I might need and just sneak in with minimal gear. I use the Radio Ruck for my Sneak and Peek Kit, also standalone.
Check the pockets, they are tough and durable like all GORUCK gear.
