About: What are Red Teams? We're sort of like the special forces units of the security industry—highly skilled teams hired to break into the clients' own networks and premises. We find the security flaws so they can be patched before someone with more malicious plans gets in.
The goal of Red Team operations is to continuously challenge the plans, defensive measures and concepts of the organization. These exercises result in a better understanding of possible adversaries and help to improve counter measures against them and future threats.

AboutFAQ

Mike at ITS Tactical posted a good after-action report about the earthquake that shook the east cost of the USA last August. In the post he added a picture of his minimal bug out bag (BOB).

I thought I’d post mine whern I am not carrying a pentest kit.

Mine is more of a Get Home Bug (GHB) since it has only the essentials to allow me to get out of the place where the problem is and make it to my place, to get my family.
It is simple, light weight and can be used to defend myself and treat my or someone else’s wounds.

The contents:

GORUCK GR Echo
Patagonia Houdini Jacket
Leatherman Fuse Multitool
Two Go Tubes with small items such as lock picking tools, a mini saw, etc. (more info here)
Zero Tolerance 0350 tactical knife
A little AAA flashlight
Mini blowout kit that contains quikclot bandages, sutures, a special forces tourniquet, anti-biotics ointment and pills, gauze, duct tape, burn gel and other small items.
The Echo is a fantastic bag as we know, the Houdini jacket is lightweight, packs in its own pocket and is weather resistant, the Leatherman and ZT knife together with the little tools in the Go-Tubes provide tools for pretty much any situation, and the mini-blowout kit gets me covered on the medical side for quick reaction to small to medium wounds.

Whenever I add stuff to the kit for a pentest these items still remain on the Echo or the Radio Ruck.
