Core War

Anyone remember the Core War.

Core War, the game in which specialized programs try to destroy one another via a special assembly-like language called Redcode.

I spent countless hours writing Redcode and trying to kill my friend’s programs. It brings good memories.

Anyway, I think Core Wars and Redcode should be a mandatory learning topic for programmers and information security experts. It successfully exemplifies where we are heading with the so call cyberwar.
